INTRODUCTION

Thank you to everyone who has joined us today. I hope you are all having a wonderful day. Praise God! This evening, I want to share a simple yet profound message—a story about our journey in Christ. I aim to speak in a way that is comfortable for all.

SCRIPTURE READING

📖 2 Corinthians 5:16–21

So from now on, we do not know anyone according to the flesh. Even though we once knew Christ according to the flesh, now we do not know Him that way anymore. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The former things have passed away; behold, everything has become new. All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation. God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. He has entrusted to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God is making His appeal through us. We plead with you on behalf of Christ: be reconciled to God. God made Him who knew no sin to become sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.

PART 1: NEW CREATION IN CHRIST

What we have just read reveals an incredible truth: we are new creations in Christ. This transformation is not superficial. It goes beyond our physical forms and appearances. We are not merely like one another or like animals. This new creation is something profound, something that we cannot fully grasp. We no longer see anyone according to the flesh. Even our understanding of Christ has changed; we no longer know Him in that way.

PART 2: SPIRITUAL PERSPECTIVE

Our foundation rests on a spiritual perspective. When we look at ourselves, we must do so not from a worldly view or a fleshly view, but from a spiritual perspective. This is the essence of the message I want to share with you today.

PART 3: CHRIST’S WAY OF SEEING

While Christ walked the earth, He lived like us—eating and drinking. Yet, His message was always about heavenly things. He once said, “If you do not understand earthly things, how will you understand heavenly things?” This question invites us to reflect on our own understanding.

PART 4: SPIRITUAL VISION

After His resurrection, Christ appeared to His disciples. They did not recognize Him as they had before. On the road to Emmaus, Jesus spoke through the Scriptures, igniting a fire in their hearts. The Bible tells us, “May the eyes of your heart be opened.” They were not physically blind, but their spiritual eyes were opened. This is another way of seeing—a spiritual perspective.

PART 5: SELF-EXAMINATION

Let us take a moment to examine ourselves. Are we viewing our lives through a worldly lens? Or are we embracing a spiritual understanding? This self-reflection is crucial for our growth.

PART 6: TEACHING ON PRAYER

Jesus taught us about prayer. He emphasized that we should not repeat words mindlessly. Prayer is not about how long we pray; it’s about understanding. If we merely repeat empty phrases, we risk becoming like those who do not know God. Worldly people often ask for food and physical needs. But Jesus reminds us that our Father already knows our needs. We should ask for our daily needs with understanding.

PART 7: TRUE RELATIONSHIP

Jesus once asked, “Who is My mother? Who are My brothers?” His answer was clear: whoever obeys God’s Word is part of His family. This shows us that true relationships are spiritual, not merely physical.

PART 8: WORLDLY VS SPIRITUAL EXPECTATION

Consider John the Baptist. He had profound revelations but became confused while in prison. He expected Jesus to come and comfort him, but that did not happen. His expectation was rooted in a worldly perspective.

PART 9: EXAMPLES FROM JESUS

Jesus provided us with examples to illustrate spiritual truths. When He said the dead girl was merely sleeping, or when He delayed in coming to Lazarus, He was teaching us about a spiritual perspective.

PART 10: PRACTICAL QUESTION

When unexpected situations arise, how do we respond? Do we react with confusion, or do we seek spiritual understanding? This question is vital for our spiritual journey.

PART 11: PERSONAL TESTIMONY – TRANSFORMATION

Many people ask me, “How do you face situations spiritually?” My answer is simple: God taught me to change my perspective. This shift in understanding is the essence of my story.

PART 12: FAMILY & ETERNAL VIEW

My children are precious to me. However, God has shown me that they are entrusted to me for a limited time. In heaven, our relationships will be different. My responsibility is to be a good father, to teach them, and to lead them in faith.

PART 13: KINGDOM PERSPECTIVE

Often, we focus on our own needs or the needs of fellow believers. However, in God’s Kingdom, our perspective must be higher. We need to change our thinking to align with His will.

PART 14: FAITHFULNESS

If we are faithful in small things, God will entrust us with greater responsibilities. If we are not faithful, how can He trust us with heavenly matters?

PART 15: WRONG MOTIVES

I have prayed for gifts, healing, and miracles. Yet, God revealed to me that my desires were often for my own glory. He looks at our motives and intentions.

PART 16: WARNING – LUCIFER

Lucifer fell from grace due to pride and a desire for self-glory. If we adopt the same mindset, we too will fall.

PART 17: TRUE SPIRITUAL LIFE

Spiritual life is not about emotions or outward expressions. It is about spirit-controlled thinking, spiritual understanding, and embracing our new identity in Christ.

PART 18: GIVING & LOVE

If you have two pieces of clothing, consider giving one away. This act reflects a giving heart and embodies freedom in love.

PART 19: TESTIMONY – GIVING VEHICLE

I once owned two vehicles, but someone had none. God prompted me to give one away. Initially, I felt confusion and saw no return. Yet, God taught me to give freely. In time, He blessed me abundantly.

PART 20: LIFE IN THE SPIRIT

When we pray, God removes worldly thinking and grants us spiritual wisdom. Our steps are ordered by Him, and He guides our actions.

PART 21: REAL-LIFE STORY (HIGHWAY INCIDENT)

One night at 3 AM, I was driving home, feeling tired. Suddenly, a woman appeared on the road. I almost hit her. My instinct was to keep driving, but the Holy Spirit urged me to stop. What if this was her last night? I stopped, spoke with her, and learned she had just come out of jail with no one to help her. I took her in, shared the Gospel, provided food, and gave her my number.

PART 22: FINAL TRUTH

Life is not just an earthly story; it is a heavenly story. I constantly remind myself that I am not a worldly man; I am a spiritual man. I must live from a heavenly perspective.

CONCLUSION

This is my story. There is so much more to share. Each of us has a unique story, and our story is in Christ.
